Kinetic Sculpture - Kelpy / Blue Patina

Kinetic sculpture/ mobile made of bent brass rod + blue-patinated brass pieces. The patina process is unpredictable, creating beautiful variation of color. See photos for up close view of the variant in pattern and color + areas where the brass comes through. The pieces are coated with a sealant, for longevity of finish. Only intended for indoor use.

dimensions: about 14” x 64” (width by height, that the shapes extend to)

(hang from a hook in the ceiling in the corner of any room - will work perfectly with standard ceiling height or taller)

also note: all of these pieces show the signs that a human created them. They weren’t finished by machines, but by human hands. Imperfections and some of the natural beauty of brass is embraced.
